The Subtle Form

The Subtle Form

“I am not this body. I am not confined to this form.”

“I am in you, with you, above you, around you.”

“Even if this body is not there, My name, My work, and My mission will go on.”

Many view that the manifestation of Subtle Sai came only after Sathya Sai Baba shed the physical body. But the subtle Sai manifestation of Sathya Sai Baba, existed long before the physical form, alongside it, and continues beyond it.

Sathya Sai Baba, is now manifesting Himself in two ways. The Subtle Sai (Sukshma Sai) manifestation, in which He does everything He used to do in His physical form, but without the form. He writes on whiteboards, and notepads. He produces nectar, Vibhuti, idols, food, clothing, jewelry. He contacts devotees by Viber and WhatsApp and gives detailed instructions.

At Sathya SaiMalar since 1999, the subtle aspect was present simultaneously, even when Baba was still in His physical body in Puttaparthi. Even now, all activities of Sathya SaiMalar are directed by subtle Sai Himself

Sathya Sai Baba now also exists and manifests Himself through His many other human forms, who have graced Sathya SaiMalar time and again like Sri Madhusudan Sai, Ananda Guru Sri Rajan Sai, Sri Dwarakanath Sai.

Incident on April 14th, 1999

Mr. Rajeswaran had left a Devi temple with some Vibhuti which was kept in his shirt pocket. It was beside a photo of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, which he carried in his shirt pocket. Within hours of placing the Vibhuti and the picture together on a table top on a tray, something extraordinary began to occur. The Vibhuti, which was merely touching the image, started to increase in amount.

Over the next few hours, the photo became entirely covered in mysteriously multiplying Vibhuti. It began spilling out from within the plastic cover when the tray was placed in the family shrine. And that was when it escalated.

Mr. Rajeswaran, his wife Ranjani, and daughter Merja then witnessed the Vibhuti emerging in puffs, filling the silver tray below and spewing like a volcanic eruption.

Four days went by, and then the most astonishing moment came on April 18th, 1999

April 18th, 1999

In an extraordinary display of His omnipresence, sacred messages began manifesting across the home - on doors, tabletops, even the refrigerator - written in Vibhuti-infused water. These were not imagined visions but clearly visible, photographically documented divine communiqués, each carrying profound significance. Through this miraculous phenomenon, Swami had unmistakably selected this family as vessels for His divine revelation. The day when heaven touched earth so visibly - April 18, 1999 - was forever sanctified as the 'Centre Anniversary Day', commemorating the moment Bhagawan declared His eternal presence at SaiMalar through these tangible manifestations of grace

Who could this be?

Was this a spontaneous materialization from a higher realm?

Was this some entity or a ghost?

Or was this the loving Baba making His presence known beyond time and space?

From the moment Bhagawan declared Sathya SaiMalar as His eternal abode, the Rajeswaran family’s lives became a living testament to His grace. Swami’s presence now permeates every corner of the sacred space - sometimes as the sudden, inexplicable fragrance of fresh jasmine blooming in airless hallways, other times as the distinct aroma of His cherished Kouros perfume drifting from His room to envelop devotees in a tangible embrace of divine love. These sacred fragrances, appearing without earthly source, serve as constant reminders that the Lord who walked in Parthi now dwells eternally in Colombo, making the impossible palpably real for all who approach with faith.

The most profound aspect of His subtle manifestation lies in His divine text messages to chosen devotees. These are not ordinary communications, but sacred exchanges brimming with His living presence—each message

Sri Sathya Sai Baba Message at Sathya SaiMalar

bearing His unmistakable signature through uncanny specificity, responses to unspoken prayers, and intimate knowledge only Swami could possess. Through these dialogues, He bridges the physical and spiritual realms, proving His promise: "I am with you always" is not metaphor, but daily reality.

“I am always with you, guiding you like the breath you do not see, yet cannot live without.

At Sathya SaiMalar, Swami’s private sanctum - the hallowed 'Interview Room'. Here, devotees lovingly offer meals three times daily with reverent devotion. After each offering, the door is carefully closed... only to miraculously open by itself when Swami has completed His divine repast. This wondrous occurrence - repeating faithfully with each meal - stands as daily testimony to His living presence among us.

Like the invisible electricity that illuminates the world, Subtle Sai silently powers every aspect of SaiMalar's sacred work. In His formless yet tangible presence, He remains the eternal conductor of love, the perpetual guide of hearts, and the ceaseless performer of miracles - proving that His divine mission knows no bounds of time or form.

Every word on this website, like every petal offered at His altar, exists by His express divine command - a digital testament to His living guidance.

Divine Plays

Glimpses Into His Divine Plays

Miracles and manifestations are a regular occurrence at SaiMalar; they are simply the norm. It is a continuous series of divine plays. While He resides at SaiMalar in His subtle body, His Leela's (divine plays) are anything but subtle.

“These materializations are not tricks to entertain, but love-letters to awaken your faith. When you see the impossible become possible, remember: so too can your heart transform in an instant."

— Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba (Discourse, 1977)

Idols ranging from 1-inch-tall to 1-foot-tall, along with lingams and padukas, appear in an instant.

Swami has breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks daily. â€‹His offerings include a delightful array of dishes: from pea pooris to pesto pasta; from vadas to vegan meat burgers; from pizza to pancakes; from laddoos to noodles; from samosas to hummus; from curries to cutlets; and from rice to spring rolls, including cakes and ice cream. Swami lovingly accepts these offerings, blessing them with Vibhuti and occasionally garnishing the food with a Ganesha or other idols of His choice.

It is always a joy to witness how He takes a bite, mixes the food, uses the finger bowl, and even crumples a tissue.

Divine Forms

Visits of His Divine Forms

“No matter where you go, always know that I will be there, inside you, guiding you every step of the way. In the years to come you will experience me in different manifestations of my form. You are my very own, dearer than dear to me. I will protect you as the eyelids protect the eyes."

— Sri Sathya Sai Baba, July 30, 1987

These divine words are not merely a promise. They continuously live as a reality at SaiMalar.

True to His word, the Lord who walked this earth as Sri Sathya Sai Baba continues to guide, bless, and inspire through the physical presence of His continuing manifestations. SaiMalar has been profoundly blessed by the visits of three of His forms.

“There is only one God, and He is omnipresent. The same God is present in all beings. You may worship Him in any form and name; all forms are His."

— Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, July 30, 1987

Each has graced SaiMalar not as separate beings, but as radiant reflections of the same infinite Source—Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Like countless lamps lit from one eternal flame, their presence reveals the One who transcends all form yet dwells in every heart

The mind struggles to comprehend the infinite nature of Swami, for He transcends all intellectual boundaries and conceptual limitations. Yet when the heart opens to receive His unconditional love, the relentless need for understanding gradually dissolves into silent wonder. In this sacred surrender, the analytical mind blossoms into pure awareness, persistent doubts melt into unwavering devotion, and lingering sorrow transforms into radiant gratitude.

SaiMalar stands as living proof—where the Formless dances through forms, where the Infinite touches finite lives, and where every moment whispers the same truth: "I am here, as I have always been, as I shall forever be."

Visiting Sathya SaiMalar

Q: Can anyone visit SaiMalar?
A: Entry is granted only by Swami's personal invitation—a sacred blessing bestowed according to His divine will. At SaiMalar, no human decides attendance; Swami Himself selects each devotee for their destined role in His Leela. This preserves the sanctity of His abode and ensures each visitor arrives at their destined moment.

Q: How does Swami invite devotees?
A: In His infinite grace, Swami communicates invitations through:

  • Miraculous whiteboard messages

  • Handwritten notes in His sacred notepads

  • Digital messages: Sent via WhatsApp/Viber to Saibal, Merja, and caretakers—demonstrating how His divine love adapts to modern means

Q: What offerings can I bring if invited?
A: While flowers and garlands are always welcome, all other offerings (fruits, etc.) require Swami's explicit written permission.

Why Such Precision?

  1. Divine Synchronicity: Each visitor serves a hidden purpose in Swami’s plan.

  2. Proof of Living Presence: Perfect details (like unspoken needs) confirm it's truly Swami calling

  3. Sacred Discipline: Guards against ego’s subtle intrusions.

“When I give a command, follow it to the letter. Even a small deviation is a crack through which ego enters"
